Welcome
February 7, 2007 — WhitehawkWelcome, friends & colleagues of Rick Jarow, to this new blog space. You are heartfully encouraged to contribute your thoughts, challenges, questions & experiences as they pertain to Rick’s “Anticareer” (Create the Work You Love), “Alchemy of Abundance,” and relevant creative living themes. As long as you are here, why not take a moment to share a thought? Rick enjoys having input to respond to ~ so step on up. If you turn out to be a regular contributor, perhaps you’ll become a resident ’columnist’ and keep minds sparking and ideas flowing!
The former blog has been retired, and this blog will be a focal point of development in the weeks and months to come. The anticareer website will also be undergoing some renovation… and meanwhile, much of that info (as well as new content) is here as well — see the tabs up top for options.
And so, friends, energize your vision and intention for a life that fills your heart & soul… and share your adventures here with us!
All the best,
Lauriel (the soul at this blog’s dashboard)

WOW….cool new blog! Just stopped by to say THANKS Rick for a fantastic, productive, and empowering weekend. So awesome to meet new people who shared my intentions for themselves and the planet….we can create the world we want! There’s more of turning those questions??? into exclamations!!!!!!!!!! ahead in 2007. Sending you all love and strength for the journey!
I looked for official sites on Mikael Zayat’s most excellent essential oils…as promised. I found over 500 sites listed, and most of them, like me, agree that his oil is some of the finest being produced on the planet. Maybe Rick can find us his site, or make a recommendation on where to order his special alchemist brew?
I also checked out Mitch’s site for his new movie….make sure you stop by and sign up for his mailing list–I did!
http://www.soyandina.com for any who missed it! I can’t wait to see it and be one of the millions who buy it! I had the pleasure of visiting Peru and hope to go back someday.
I’m looking forward to hearing about that “golden door” and the financial equation……over to you H. Xpeace–outX

I can’t believe it. A blog I actually want to read! :-) and contribute to…
I first took the “creating the work you love ” workshop in New york in 2003. So, four years later, I am finally making the changes. I just reduced my day hour job to 35 hours a week so I have a full day for my creative writing, and I am moving closer to the idea of leaving journalism for other kinds of day work.
It’s been a very challenging process b/c I’m such a good manifester. But I’ve found that my fears block my ability to manifest abundance. I never thought I was a person who feared having the good stuff in life but alas I too suffer from this.
I’m more committed now to turning this around. The last time I met someone special I actually lay down in my room and just focused on receiving love, an abundance of love. Well, the relationship didn’t last but the abundance did! and it trickles into other areas of my life including work and friendships….

It’s good to hear you’re enjoying this blog, Daisy, and also that you’re starting to “be the change” you want to see in your life! I want to acknowledge your comment re: “the relationship not lasting, while the abundance did.”
I’ve found, too, that the key is not to keep focusing on a person as your ’supply,’ but rather, to hold the *feeling* you want to experience in life! Then that FEELING can be activated, maintained in ongoing resonance, by all *kinds* of sources. It’s in knowing abundance as an energy in your heart that magnetizes like energy to it; perhaps by way of this person, or perhaps THAT person, or another… or a pet, or a flower, or on and on into any enjoyable moment life has for us. If we hold the love for what feels divine to us (which varies from person to person), we hold the wavelength for that feeling to flow to us, and through us, into infinite expression. Ah, bliss!
True happiness (abundance) isn’t about someone else… it’s about ourselves and the frequency on the universal dial that attunes to our personal love signal and sends like energies in response. Sounds like you found your spot on the dial! :)
